The Upper East Regional Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Alhaji Abdulai Mumuni Bolnaba, has stated that Ghanaians are experiencing unfulfilled promises and unprecedented hardship under the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP). Apexnewsgh.com reports
In an interview with Apexnewsgh.com, the regional chairman revealed that citizens are expressing their discontent with the current state of affairs, citing unfulfilled promises and skyrocketing living costs.
According to Alhaji Bolnaba, Ghanaians are now acknowledging that although they faced challenges during the NDC’s tenure, their current struggles under the NPP administration are far more severe.
As a result, there is a growing call for the NDC to return to power and rescue the country from the NPP’s “hardship administration.”
The regional chairman emphasized that during the NDC’s time in office, they listened to the concerns and cries of Ghanaians, whereas the NPP has demonstrated a lack of empathy and disregard for the citizens’ plight.
Alhaji Bolnaba, further accused the NPP of ignoring Ghanaians’ struggles and imposing their will without consideration for the people’s welfare.
