Graduate Recruitment: GES to give more attention to teachers with the needed subject areas

It is official that the Ghana Education Service has opened the recruitment portal for university graduates to apply.
In a press release from Ghana Education Service, graduates with some specific subject areas have higher chances of getting recruits into the service.

Meanwhile, speaking with Daily graphic monitored by Apexnewsgh.com, the director-general of the service Prof. Kwasi Opoku Amankwa revealed that, although the recruitment portal is opened for university graduates, some teachers are needed to tackle specific subject areas.
According to Prof. Amankwa, during the recruitment process, more opportunity will be given to graduates with early childhood, French, science, special education, and technical, vocational education and training (TVET).

However, speaking on specifics, the Director-General said, special attention will be given to People with Disabilities and special education complied with the inclusivity as entrenched in the Education Act 2008 (Act 778).
