Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has announced that the November 4 election result is going to be more devastating than the August Super Delegate election. He appeals for 100 percent results from Upper East Delegates. That, he says will give him the opportunity to beat John Mahama once again.
Dr. Bawumia, made this known while addressing delegates and members of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) at his final rally ahead of the November 4 election in Bolgatanga the Upper East Regional Capital.
The Vice President described the August election as a remarkable victory as he went ahead to thank delegates and the people of Upper East for the honor done him.
“The special delegate’s conference sent a very important message. Because the whole party across all the 16 regions was united behind Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia”
“But we have not yet finished, we still have one election to go on November 4 and I want you all to vote 100 percent for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia”.
“As we are getting closer to November 4, some of our opponents are getting afraid, they know that given what is happening the results will be more devastating than that of August 26th.”
However, Dr. Bawumia also noted that his opponents having noticed that they had lost in advance, have now resorted to naming-calling, fabricated lies, and instigating conflicts. He advised delegates to take notice of their strategy and ignore them.
“So, they have decided to bring conflict amongst us and the way they want to bring conflict amongst us is to tell lies, big lies, white lies but I want to tell you that you should ignore all of those lies and let us stay united, let us stay focused, the next few days, they will come out with more lies”
Dr. Bawumia is confident, that delegates from the Upper East Region will give him 100 percent results because he is the only candidate who understands governance amongst other contenders and aside from that, none of the other candidates have been on the Presidential ticket since their political career.
He appealed for the delegates to give him the opportunity to defeat John Dramani Mahama once again since Dr. Bawumia was the only one amongst the candidates who had the antidote of defeating John Mahama.
