Issahaku Abdul Latif of NPP is dead

Former Northern Region Communications Director for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Issahaku Abdul Latif, has tragically passed away after a brief illness.

The news of his untimely death was confirmed this afternoon at the Tamale Teaching Hospital, where he succumbed to complications arising from surgery.

The somber announcement was made by the current NPP Communications Director, Yusif Danjummah, who expressed profound sorrow at the loss of their former Director of Communications.

Taking to social media to share the news, Danjummah wrote, “It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the death of our former Communications Director, Mr. A. Latif. He passed away this afternoon at the Tamale Teaching Hospital after enduring a prolonged surgery. May Allah grant him Jannataul-Firdaus.”

Issahaku Abdul Latif had previously held the position of Boss at the National Health Insurance in the Northern Region, showcasing his dedication to public service.

While details regarding his funeral arrangements are yet to be finalized and officially released to the public, it is expected that his burial will be conducted in accordance with Muslim traditions, reflecting his faith and beliefs.

The NPP community and beyond mourn the loss of Issahaku Abdul Latif, remembering him for his contributions and commitment to his work.
