Meanwhile, James Gyakye Quayson will be going to court this morning for a criminal case against him and after that, he is expected in Parliament for his swearing-in.
17, 245 electorates voted for Mr. Quayson representing 57.56 percent cast, while 12,630 electorates voted for Charles Opoku of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) representing 42.15 percent of votes cast.
Bernice Sefenu, a third contestant, of the Liberal Party of Ghana, managed 87 votes, representing 0.29 percent of votes cast.
