President of the Republic of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has officially announced the death of Ghana former President Jerry John Rawlings.
As part of his announcement, President Akufo Addo has directed that all national flags should fly at half-mast for the next seven (7) days in all parts of the country, as he equally declared seven days of national mourning from Friday, November 13, 2020 in honor of the memory of former President J.J Rawlings.
However, he also announced that he and his Vice President Dr. Bawumia who is in the Upper East Region for a 3-day campaign tour, have suspended their political campaign for the period,
