The Deputy Director-General of Ghana Education Service Dr. Kwabena Bempah Tandoh who appeared on Joyprime for an open forum on Education and GES portal double registration problem.
His reactions followed problems some have encountered and seek clarification.

▪️Amoah Miracle asked, after successfully going through the application process, the certificate is supposed to show but mine isn’t showing, how do I fix that?, do I register again or leave it as it is?
▪️Some of my colleagues have registered more than once because of errors and commissions when they were filling the forms, will that affect them as well?
Answer
According to Dr. Tandoh, the system is usually cleaned and that, the system merge details if it detects that, the same number(index) has registered twice.
“Usually we clean the system, so if we see that, a number has registered more than once, obviously we merge that information” he added
According to him, this is made because sometimes, a person may forget to upload his/her certificate so once the application is received, the GES merge and clean the system.
He also assures applicants that, because of the above explanation, there is no cause for fear and panic and even if you have registered more than once, your data will be merge.
