Speaking during his ‘Mahama Conversations’ live broadcast on social media, Mahama expressed outrage over the administration’s opulence, citing the use of private jets for trips that could have been handled by the presidential Falcon executive jet.
He also referenced the Minister of Defence’s admission that the jet lacked a shower for presidential use. Mahama further condemned the alleged stashing of millions of dollars by a minister in her home, hinting at widespread corruption.
He promised to work with Ghanaians and international anti-corruption partners to retrieve ill-gotten wealth, stating: “We shall do all that is humanly possible to retrieve such wrongly acquired wealth.
