One of Africa’s most legendary actors, being honored with an Industry Merit Award by Africa Magic and Lifetime Achievement by Africa Film Academy Although a seasoned administrator and broadcaster Chief Pete Edochie has expressed his utmost sadness about the death of Jerry John Rawlings the Ghana former president.
According to his twitte on his personal handle, the Veteran actor described the late Jerry John Rawlings as his ‘DEAR FRIEND’, chief Edochie posted this on Thursday, November 12, 2020, when the information got to him.
In his own choice of words, Chief Edochie said the late JJ Rawlings is a man whose legacy will forever be remembered as of part of African history.
According to him, Rawlings’ legacy is incomparable.
“…rest in Peace & Power, my dear friend Jerry Rawlings. Your legacy is forever part of African history,” he wrote on social media.” He wrote
Before now, there has been so much talk about the resemblance between the Legendary Pete Edochie and his late friend late J.J Rawlings.
“I agree with people who say we have the resemblance because I know how I look and seeing him here I have no doubt they are right. It appears we have a lot in common”.
However, the veteran Nigerian actor had a pleasant and affable relationship with J.J as he was popularly called in the Ghanaian circle when he was alive.
