The event, held at the Accra International Conference Centre, is a fulfillment of President John Dramani Mahama’s campaign promise to engage diverse stakeholders in shaping the country’s economic future.

Under the theme “Resetting Ghana: Building the Economy We Want Together,” President Mahama will deliver a keynote address outlining his government’s vision for rebuilding Ghana’s economy. The dialogue brings together representatives from the private sector, academia, public policy institutions, and civil society organizations to contribute to shaping the country’s financial future.

Key Areas of Focus

The discussions will be structured around six thematic sessions:

Achieving Sustainable Macroeconomic Stability: Exploring strategies for stable economic growth
Promoting Economic Transformation: Identifying opportunities for economic diversification and development
Advancing Infrastructure Development: Discussing ways to improve Ghana’s infrastructure
Implementing Structural Reforms: Examining reforms necessary for sustainable economic growth
Ensuring Private Sector-Led Growth: Fostering an environment conducive to private sector growth
Restoring Good Governance and Combating Corruption: Promoting transparency and accountability in governance

Through this engagement, the government hopes to solicit ideas from experts and generate consensus-driven solutions to boost business confidence, improve infrastructure, and enhance livelihoods.

These outcomes will serve as a roadmap for policy implementation, guiding economic decisions and providing resilience for long-term growth.
