The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is set to officially introduce its flagbearer’s running mate, Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, in a special ceremony to be held in Accra next week. Apexnewsgh report
The event is scheduled for Wednesday, 24th April 2024, at the Kofi Ohene Konadu Auditorium at the University of Professional Studies (UPSA), starting at 4:00 pm.
Communications Officer, Sammy Gyamfi, signed a statement announcing the occasion, which will be attended by NDC’s flagbearer for the 2024 general election, Mr John Mahama, along with members of the Functional Executive Committee, Council of Elders, and other party officials. Distinguished guests from various sectors including the diplomatic corps, clergy, academia, and civil society organizations are also expected to be present.
Prof Opoku-Agyemang will use the platform to discuss the NDC’s vision for a progressive and prosperous Ghana, as well as the transformative policies of their flagbearer for the upcoming election. The event will include activities before the main programme officially kicks off at 5:00 pm.
