The National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) has officially debunked rumors circulating about ongoing or recent recruitment activities within the organization. Apexnewsgh reports
In a statement issued on Monday, December 23, Chief Executive Dr. Da-Costa Aboagye clarified that all recruitment processes for 2024 were finalized in October.
The NHIA emphasized that the recruitment exercises were conducted in strict compliance with the law, relevant regulations, procedures, and best practices. Transparency, fairness, and meritocracy were at the core of the exercise, Dr. Aboagye stated.
Regarding director-level appointments, the NHIA noted that such confirmations fall exclusively under the jurisdiction of the Public Services Commission. The Authority’s role is limited to communicating the Commission’s decisions to applicants after receiving a full report.
The NHIA urged the public to disregard false claims or threats about last-minute recruitment activities, reaffirming its commitment to transparency and strict adherence to established protocols in its operations.
