The New Patriotic Party (NPP) recently announced its plans for the upcoming 2024 national campaign during its National Executive Committee and National Council meetings on Monday, February 19, 2024. The party approved a proposed structure for the campaign and appointed key individuals to serve on various national campaign committees.
Former President John Agyekum Kufuor and President Nana Akufo-Addo have been named as members of the campaign advisory committee. Additionally, a National Campaign Coordinating Committee (NCCC) has been established to oversee the work of all other committees. This committee will be chaired by the 2024 Presidential Candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, who will be assisted by a yet-to-be-named Vice Presidential Candidate.
The National Chairman of the party is also serving on the NCCC, which shows the party’s commitment to a unified and strategic approach to the 2024 national campaign. With these key appointments and structures in place, the NPP is gearing up for a successful campaign ahead of the 2024 election.
