In a move to boost sports development and empower the youth, NPP Bolgatanga East Parliamentary candidate, Mr. Mathew Silas Amoah, has cut the sod for the construction of an Astroturf in the constituency. Apexnewsgh reports
Addressing the media after the sod-cutting ceremony, Mr. Amoah expressed his passion for sports and his commitment to supporting the youth. He recalled his promise to the constituents in 2022 to facilitate the construction of an Astroturf, which has now become a reality.
The Bolgatanga East Party communication director, Hon. Ateera Ayimbila Abubakar, praised Mr. Amoah for fulfilling his promise, stating that “politics is about impacting the people.” He noted that the Astroturf project is a testament to Mr. Amoah’s dedication to the constituency.
The sod-cutting ceremony marks a significant milestone in the constituency, as the Astroturf will be the first of its kind in Bolgatanga East. Mr. Amoah expressed his hope that the project will be completed before the elections, demonstrating his commitment to the people.
The initiative is also seen as a fulfillment of the promise made by Finance Minister Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam during his visit to the constituency with the Vice President a few months ago.
With this project, Mr. Amoah has once again demonstrated his dedication to the people of Bolgatanga East, investing in their future and well-being.
