The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has announced that six individuals have been declared wanted for their alleged involvement in corruption and corruption-related offenses during the parliamentary elections organized by the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The elections were focused on orphan constituencies and issues of vote-buying were prominently raised, with delegates being captured on camera flaunting money allegedly received from aspirants.
In response, the OSP has initiated investigations into these incidents with the goal of addressing corruption-related activities during the NPP’s parliamentary elections. A public statement from the OSP encourages the general public to provide any relevant information that may assist in uncovering the truth.
