Former National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, has lambasted Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, labeling him a “complete failure” in his economic management and leadership. Apexnewsgh reports
In a recent interview with ChannelOne TV monitored by Apexnewsgh, Ofosu-Ampofo expressed his disappointment in Bawumia’s performance, stating that the Vice President’s recent statements on the campaign trail have left him questioning whether Bawumia is the same person he claimed to be.
Ofosu-Ampofo criticized Bawumia’s call for the reintroduction of road tolls, pointing out that as Vice President, he is an integral part of the government and should take responsibility for its actions. He also accused Bawumia of forgetting his role as Chairman of the Economic Management Team and failing to salvage the economy as promised.
The former NDC Chairman urged Ghanaians to vote for a change in government at the next polls, drawing parallels with South Africa’s recent election.
He expressed his belief that the ordinary Ghanaian will rise to the occasion and bring about a change in government, ending the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) reign under President Akufo-Addo and Bawumia.
