ORAL Committee Dismisses Drone Surveillance Allegations as “Ridiculous”

Apexnewsgh

The Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) committee has categorically denied allegations made by Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin that the group used drones to surveil his private properties. Apexnewsgh reports

Afenyo-Markin had acknowledged the committee’s activities in a recent media interview, but claimed he had chosen to ignore them.

Martin Kpebu, a legal practitioner and ORAL committee member, described the allegations as “ridiculous” and urged the public to disregard them. “It is false.

The ORAL committee has not sent any drones to spy on the Minority Leader’s properties—it is not true at all,” Kpebu told Citi News. He emphasized that the committee does not own any drones, and therefore, could not have used them for surveillance.

Kpebu also rejected claims that the committee had secretly deployed additional members to operate on its behalf. “We do not have any members aside from the committee members working for us. Since it is a democracy, claims like that are made for strategic reasons,” he added.

The ORAL committee has been actively collecting data on alleged financial misappropriations, and insists that its work is being conducted transparently and within legal bounds.
