With a total cost of Ghc 67,500 for the 15 keyboards, many are questioning the justification for such an extravagant expense.
To put the cost into perspective, the amount needed to purchase one keyboard for the Ghana Cocoa Board is double the monthly salary of a teacher at the Ghana Education Service (GES) with the rank of Senior Superintendent II. This stark difference in expenses has led to widespread criticism and calls for transparency in government spending.
