President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Ms. Justina Nelson as the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Minerals Income and Investment Fund (MIIF). Apexewsgh reports
This appointment is in line with Article 195(1) of the Constitution and Section 21(2) of the MIIF Act, 2018 (Act 978).
Ms. Nelson brings over 20 years of experience as a seasoned banking professional to her new role. Currently, she serves as Group Head at Zenith Bank (Ghana) Limited, overseeing the Energy and Commercial Banking sectors.
Her impressive educational background includes a Master of Laws in Corporate and Commercial Law and a master’s in business administration (Marketing) from the University of Ghana. She also holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Management and Psychology from the University of Ghana.
The appointment was announced in a statement signed by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Spokesperson to the President (Acting), on Tuesday, January 14, 2025.
