In addition to discussing development, President Mahama addressed ongoing tribal tensions in the Nkwanta South Municipality. He urged all parties involved to embrace peace and dialogue, pointing out that true and lasting development cannot thrive in an environment marked by conflict.

“No community or region can progress without peace,” he asserted, calling on the leaders of the various tribes to come together, set differences aside, and engage in constructive discussions for the common good.

“Let us work towards unity and development,” he concluded, leaving the gathering inspired by his commitment to fostering a collaborative and peaceful atmosphere for the advancement of the Oti Region.
