Mr. Ngamegbulam’s story, “The Horrors of Witchcraft Accusation,” has been nominated as a finalist in the ONLINE/WIRE SERVICE CATEGORY. The Inclusive & Anti-conflict Journalism Awards are part of the “Engaging Media and Minorities to Act for Peacebuilding” (EMMAP) project, funded by the European Union (EU) through the Minority Rights Group (MRG).

Mr. Ngamegbulam is a distinguished media personality renowned for his dedication and commitment to his craft. Through his tireless efforts, he has made a significant impact in the Upper East Region, shedding light on issues that positively affect the local community.

His latest documentary on witchcraft accusations in the northern region, particularly in the Upper East Region of Ghana, is a testament to his exceptional journalism skills. This comprehensive documentary features a diverse range of stakeholders, including chiefs, clergymen, fetish priestesses, fetish priests, soothsayers, legal experts, accused victims of witchcraft, and families of lynched accused victims.

Mr. Ngamegbulam’s outstanding work has earned him prestigious recognition, including the GJA Upper East Regional Human Rights Reporter award in 2019 and the Regional Climate Change Reporter award in 2023. These honors are a fitting tribute to his unwavering passion for storytelling and his unrelenting pursuit of truth.
