Dr. Richard Amoako Baah, a former New Patriotic Party (NPP) stalwart, has made startling allegations about his experiences after criticizing former President Nana Akufo-Addo.
Speaking on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem monitored by Apexnewsgh, Dr. Baah revealed that he often faced spiritual attacks, which sometimes manifested physically, after speaking out against Akufo-Addo. “You will be stabbed in the side spiritually,” he claimed.
These alleged attacks weren’t the only challenge Dr. Baah faced. He also accused some Kumasi-based radio stations of blacklisting him, despite his interviews drawing large audiences. According to Dr. Baah, the stations would occasionally allow him to speak for just five minutes, but presenters would often decline to have him on their shows due to being paid off.
Dr. Baah attributed his ability to endure these challenges to his faith, affirming that he is a man of God with a divine purpose. These claims come after his recent resignation from the NPP, citing frustrations with the party’s leadership and its disconnection from ordinary supporters.
Dr. Baah has also hinted at forming a new party, the New Patriotic Front (NPF), which he claims has the backing of around 36 NPP stalwarts. This development marks a significant shift in Ghana’s political landscape, as the NPP has been a major player in the country’s politics.
