Dr. Dominic Ayine Praises Mahama’s Integrity, Says Akufo-Addo Is a Clearing Agent of Corrupt Appointees

The Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga East, Dr. Dominic Ayine, has launched a scathing attack on the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) and President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for allegedly failing to prosecute corrupt appointees. Apexnewsgh reports Speaking at his campaign launch ahead of the 2024 general election, Dr. Ayine praised former President John Dramani Mahama’s integrity and competence. Dr. Ayine, who served as Deputy Attorney General under Mahama, testified to his leader’s honesty and commitment to fighting corruption. He cited Mahama’s successful resolution of the 2015 power crisis and his prosecution of corrupt individuals, including those affiliated with the NDC. In contrast, Dr. Ayine accused President Akufo-Addo of clearing corrupt appointees instead of prosecuting them, earning him the nickname “clearing agent.” He emphasized the stark choice between Mahama’s integrity and the NPP’s alleged dishonesty, urging voters to elect Mahama again to restore trust and accountability in government. Former Deputy Attorney General Accused NPP of Discrimination in Security Recruitment and Government Contracts

The Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga East, Dr. Dominic Ayine, has launched a scathing attack on the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) and President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, accusing them of discrimination in the recruitment of security service personnel and awarding of government contracts. Apexnewsgh reports Speaking at his campaign launch ahead of the 2024 general election, Dr. Ayine alleged that only card-bearing members of the NPP are considered for government jobs, including in the security services. He claimed that this discriminatory practice extends to farmers, who are denied access to fertilizers if they are not NPP members. Dr. Ayine contrasted this with the inclusive approach of former President John Dramani Mahama, who ensured that all Ghanaians, regardless of party affiliation, had access to government services and contracts. The former Deputy Attorney General emphasized that public institutions should serve all citizens, not just members of the ruling party. Dr. Ayine’s speech highlighted the NPP’s alleged politicization of the civil service and security agencies, warning that this has created a Ghana that is undesirable and exclusionary. He urged voters to reject this discriminatory approach and elect a government that serves all Ghanaians equally. Source: Apexnewsgh.com/Ngamegbulam Chidozie Stephen/Bolga East

According to the former Deputy Attorney General, even though he sometimes had sleepiness night with some other issues, but the least he doesn’t even think of worrying himself about NPP in his constituency because they can’t unseat him. “I may have a lot of sleepless nights about a lot of issues, I don’t lose sleep over the NPP, not at all, not in this Constituency, so all the things that they are doing have you heard me respond to them? Is not because I don’t see what they are doing, you can’t go and collect people from Bolgatanga Technical University, non-voters in this Constituency and come and parade them around and say that you have got the crowd. Dr. Ayine also reveal how they planted people in the recent HEALTH WALK organized by the NDC in his Constituency, especially those who do not have voting right in Bolga East. “That’s why I say, the quality of the crowd matters. If you bring people from Bolgatanga Technical University, Bolgatanga midwifery, Bolgatanga nursing training school, and also I had NDC people roaming in the crowd and we were interviewing them, even people from Walewale who had No vote in Bolgatanga East”. “So please, tell Mathew Amoah my good junior brother wherever he has gotten his money from, he should spend it wisely because am going to retain the seat” Meanwhile, Dr. Ayine’s filing was massively accompanied by delegates and party supporters, all seen happily drumming and dancing.
