99% out of 100 prophecies on 31st night do not pass biblical standard, disregard it– Rev. Frimpong Manso

President of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) Rev. Prof. Paul Frimpong Manso, has advised Ghanaians to disregard 31st Night declarations because they are not up to the Biblical standard for prophecies. Apexnewsgh report According to the GPCC President, the majority of the pastors who go ahead with such unbiblical prophecies are only playing on the intelligence of their congregations and citizens. Stressing that, most of the issues they claim to be prophecies are things that are normal in the system and are bound to happen during the year. “I will say 99% of them if not 100, do not pass the Biblical standard of prophecies,” Rev. Frimpong Manso said “Even though some could come to pass. There are certain things, it is common sense” he sighted prophecies like marriage and accidents. “I wish I will tell Ghanaians to disregard some of these prophecies and carry on with life because they are just causing confusion and disturbing us,” he advised. Dr. Bawumia believes that Ghana can be our future’—Christian Council

The General Secretary of the Christian Council of Ghana, Rev. Dr. Cyril Fayose has recommended the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for his love for the church despite being an Islamic brought up. Rev. Dr. Cyril Fayose did hide his feelings whiles introducing the Vice President as the Special Guest of Honour at the opening ceremony of the Ghana Youth Congress at Gomoa Fetteh in the Central Region on Tuesday. According to him, sometimes he gets confused, about whether Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is a Christian or a Muslim. He added: “Whatever the case is, he is a friend of the Church. And when we invited him to this programme, he readily said Yes; that shows his love for the church as well as for young people”, He said. Meanwhile, the Ghana Youth Congress is organized by the Christian Council of Ghana as a precursor to the upcoming African Youth Congress to be organized under the auspices of the All Africa Conference of Churches (AACC), under the theme, “Ghana, My Home, My Future”. Rev. Dr. Cyril Fayose said the Vice President was chosen as the Special Guest for the programme because “He is one person who believes in Ghana and believes that Ghana can make it. He believes that Ghana can be our future”. However, during his speech, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia promised the youth delegates that Government will continue to do its best to help them develop their potentials and capabilities and provide the enabling environment to meet the growth aspirations. He advised the youth to be focused.

Christian Council urges churches to observe COVID-19 safety protocols during 31st night services

The Christian Council of Ghana has asked churches to strictly adhere to the coronavirus safety protocols during their watch night services on December 31. The Chairman of the Christian Council Ghana, Most Reverend Dr Kwabena Danso has been quoted in a Citi News report as saying that churches across the country can alter their services in a way that will ensure minimal risk of COVID-19 infection. “Social distancing must be observed, no one should come to church without the nose masks. Ensure congregants wash their hands and or sanitize them. Also, check their temperatures. Watchnight services are noted for waving of handkerchiefs, dancing, shaking hands, among many others. For the sake of fear of the virus. Let’s ensure that all these are restricted. “Churches could look at having virtual services in addition to the physical ones to reduce the number of people present at the church premises. Let’s also be sure to keep the services as brief as possible. Instead of closing hours after entering the new year, let’s be snappy and wrap up with some 20 minutes after midnight,” Most Reverend Danso is quoted in the report. Watchnight services on December 31 are a significant part of the activities that usher in the New Year in Ghana. The services draw huge crowds and this has raised concerns about a possible spike in the virus figures if safety protocols are neglected. Ghana’s cumulative coronavirus figure is 54,401 with 53,180 recoveries. Active cases currently stand at 888 with 333 deaths. angelonline Please contact Apexnewsgh.com on email apexnewsgh@gmail.com for your credible news publications. Contact: 0555568093.
