Yes, we all want to live a decent life but that decent life must be earned through respect. Don’t go into areas that will dent your reputation, if you go into areas that will dent your reputation that’s where you are in trouble. If your people begin dragging you as a Chief to court, then you the Chief should be careful, because is a signal to you”. The Chief who was speaking at a forum organized by A1 radio Dubbed: Maintaining Peace In The Upper East Region; The Role Of The Media, Traditional Leaders & CSOs monitored by Apexnewsgh.com, said “If you are Chief of a community, you should be loved by the people, you should not approach your people with violent character, and you should be a welcoming person”. According to the astute Kotintaabig Chief, being a Chief does not mean that you should be a monster, that will be chasing people of your community around, just because of the title “Chief” He further said: “In my community, when I sit, you see people sitting with me. People don’t even know that am a Chief and even at times, I disguised myself by wearing simple things and come to the community and be rooming around with them. “But if you are a Chief and you think that you can now put yourself at a certain level in which you are difficult to reach then, it is a problem. You are there for the community, the people should not run away with their problems from you”.
