The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Upper East Region has elected suitable candidates to manage the women wing of the party as executives in the region ahead of the 2024 election. Fawzia Yakubu  emerged victorious in the contest by beating the incumbent Charity with 11 votes.
