Gambibgo Elderly Receive Free Health Screening Ahead of Election by Dr. Adongo

In the heart of Gambibgo, a community nestled within the Bolgatanga East constituency, a remarkable event was unfolding. Apexnewsgh reports Dr. Nadia Adongo, known for her unwavering dedication and compassion, organized a health screening initiative aimed at uplifting the local community’s health and well-being. As the election season drew near, Dr. Adongo’s determination to ensure that the people of Gambibgo had access to crucial medical care took center stage. On the day of the event, the atmosphere was bustling with life. It wasn’t merely a series of check-ups; it transformed into a vibrant gathering where the elderly reunited with friends and peers, some of whom they hadn’t seen in years. For many, it was a day of joy and connection, a much-needed respite from the isolation that often accompanies aging or limited mobility. Dr. Adongo’s efforts were part of a broader vision she had for her community. As the founder of the Ntuune Pogyua Foundation, she had already made significant strides by paying the National Health Insurance Scheme premiums for over 500 elderly residents. Her foundation also sponsored other medical outreach programs, further solidifying her commitment to enhancing the health of her constituents. Speaking to the media, Dr. Adongo expressed her motivations clearly. “We’re here today to care for our community,” she declared, emphasizing the lack of regular medical checkups many residents faced. “It’s essential that they have access to these services.” Continuing her tradition of giving back to Gambibgo during the holiday season, Dr. Adongo had decided to elevate her annual outreach this year by hosting a comprehensive health screening event. The community responded with enthusiasm, eager for the opportunity not only for medical attention but also to socialize with their neighbors. Amidst the screenings, another key figure joined the scene: Mathew Silas Amoah, the NPP parliamentary candidate for Bolgatanga East. Seizing the moment, he engaged with the elderly, sharing stories and encouragement. Mathew urged his audience to consider the upcoming elections seriously, appealing to them to cement their support for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as President and himself for Parliament. “That’s the only way to ensure lasting development in Bolgatanga East and, specifically, in Gambibgo,” he asserted passionately. Dr. Adongo’s health screening initiative was more than just a medical event; it was a testament to hope, community, and the power of concerted efforts to uplift those in need. As the day drew to a close, the spirit of cooperation and care hung in the air, a reminder of the profound impact one dedicated individual can have on the lives of many. Source: Apexnewsgh.com

Amoah to Ayine: Degrees Don’t Determine Leadership Ability

Mathew Silas Amoah, the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Bolgatanga East, has fired back at his opponent, Dr. Dominic Ayine, who mocked him for allegedly deceiving the public about his educational qualifications. Apexnewsgh reports Amoah emphasized that having a PhD or Doctorate degree shouldn’t be the benchmark for determining who can develop their people. “Politics goes beyond education and physical appearance,” Amoah stressed. “It’s about development, and if someone has the capabilities to develop their community, regardless of their educational background, they deserve a chance”. Amoah drew inspiration from Jerry John Rawlings, one of Ghana’s most revered leaders, who didn’t hold a doctoral degree but left a lasting impact on the country. “Education is valuable, but it shouldn’t be the sole measure of a leader’s potential”. This response comes after months of criticism and mockery from Dr. Ayine, who questioned Amoah’s credentials. The two candidates have been at odds over their contributions to the constituency, including the construction of boreholes. Amoah’s message resonates with many, highlighting that leadership ability transcends academic qualifications. As the parliamentary elections approach, this debate is likely to continue, with Amoah’s response sparking a wider conversation about the true measures of effective leadership. NPP Director Condemns Ayariga’s Unsubstantiated Allegations Against Mathew Silas Amoah

Ateera Ayimbila Abubakar, Bolgatanga East Party Communication Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has expressed strong displeasure over comments made by Member of Parliament for Bawku Central, Hon. Mahama Ayariga, without providing proof or evidence. Apexnewsgh reports Hon. Ayariga’s allegations against successful businessman Mathew Silas Amoah, who is vying for a position, were deemed unsubstantiated and embarrassing. Ayimbila challenged Hon. Ayariga to verify his claims at the registrar general’s office, emphasizing the importance of proof and evidence in law. Ayimbila attributed the attacks on Amoah to the “Mathew Effect,” which he believes is gaining momentum and causing concern among opponents. He described Amoah as a regional project, prompting interest from other constituencies. “It very clear, that this young man (Mathew Silas Amoah) is a regional project, because if he is not a regional project, why will some people come from their constituency to make such comment”. Mr. Ayimbila criticized Hon. Ayariga for focusing on baseless allegations rather than addressing the pressing issue of restoring peace in his constituency, Bawku. “Mahama Ayariga should be interested in restoring peace in his constituency Bawku because he is a big stakeholder. But unfortunately, he is interested in Bringing peace in Bawku and he is rather accusing someone of using stolen money to campaign”. He stressed According to him, “Hon. Dominic Ayine is living in an AC room but yet he is sweating,” implying that Ayariga’s actions are driven by desperation. The Bolga East NPP Communication Director, further criticized Hon. Mahama Ayariga, questioning his contribution to his constituency and the region. Ayimbila highlighted Ayariga’s tenure as Minister for Sports, during which he failed to provide even a single Astroturf to the region. He emphasized that Ayariga’s inability to deliver on such a basic project raises concerns about his effectiveness as a representative. Ayimbila’s comments suggest that Ayariga’s focus on unsubstantiated allegations against Mathew Silas Amoah is a distraction from his own shortcomings as a public servant. By questioning Ayariga’s contribution to the region, Ayimbila aims to shift attention to Ayariga’s own record and prompt scrutiny of his performance. Will Mathew Silas Amoah Take Legal Action? When asked if Mathew Silas Amoah would take legal action against those making unsubstantiated allegations against him, the Communication Director, responded that his candidate is focused on his goals of becoming the next Bolga East MP and will not waste time and energy on name-calling and baseless accusations. Ayimbila’s statement suggests that Mr. Amoah is choosing to rise above the fray and concentrate on his objectives, rather than engaging with detractors. However, it remains to be seen whether Amoah will take legal action in the future to clear his name and address the allegations made against him. For now, it appears that he is prioritizing his focus and energy on more productive pursuits. Mathew Silas Amoah contributes Ghc20,000 & 3 air conditioners for the regional dialysis centre

Mathew Silas Amoah, the Parliamentary Candidate for governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Bolga-East constituency of the Upper East Region, has intervened with a GHC 20,000.00 donation towards the ongoing Dialysis Center project at the Bolgatanga East Regional Hospital. Mr. Amoah noted that there is a need for the region to have a dialysis center. Addressing the media during the donation at the regional hospital, Mr. Amoah revealed that the information about the Dialysis project got to him a couple of months ago at the just-ended Upper East branch of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) awards night, where the media solicited support for the regional hospital’s dialysis project. “I got to hear of the information a couple of months ago when they organize an award scheme like they do annually, I want to recommend them for taking it up by making people know what we are facing in the region. If not for the media, probably some of us wouldn’t have heard it because we don’t come here, we don’t know the director, we don’t know the leadership of the hospital to know the plight they are facing here. So, we have to recommend the media. It is good they have taken this region as our own”. Mr. pointed out the need for such an important initiative to be welcomed not politicized as it has always been for the regional development; “I am a Frafra from Zaurungu, I think when it comes to things like this we have to put politics aside and faced it as Frafras. I am fortunate to be part of the Bonaboto area, and the hospital happens to be on our land, if it comes to our attention like this, is not for us to do our usual NDC/NPP thing”. “We have some big men in this region of which 2,3 people can take up this project and just do it for us. We see down south, we see the Despite and Co, they build a police station, they build a hospital for their community. We needed the dialysis center, though we are not all that financially strong but whatever little we have, we will contribute. I will appeal to frafras and people of the Upper East region let’s come together, it is our own we are building for ourselves”. Meanwhile, Williams Jalulah, the Upper East GJA Chairman, who was present at the donation was so thankful to Mr. Amoah for his kind generosity and support exhibited, he describes Mathew Amaoh’s contribution as a testament to the community’s well-being. “Matthew’s contribution is a testament to his commitment to our community’s well-being, and we are sincerely grateful for his support. We hope his example inspires others, especially Members of Parliament in the region, to follow suit and help us complete this critical Dialysis Center project”. Expressing his gratitude for the kind gesture, Dr. Saawi Aiden, the Medical Director at the Bolgatanga Regional Hospital, explained the difficulty patients normally go through as a result of the non-availability of dialysis machines in the region. According to Dr. Saawi, with Amoah’s support and additional air conditioning units, patients will be more comfortable when the center is opened. “The fact you have come here alone shows that you know the importance of having dialysis in the region, we are grateful you have taken such a step” He added Source: Apexnewsgh.com/Ghana For publication please kindly contact us on 0256336062 or Email apexnewsgh@gmail.com

Bolga East: Mathew Silas Amoah makes another important donations to GHS–CHECK OUT

Mathew Silas Amoah, the Bolgatanga East Parliamentary Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the 2024 election, has responded to a request from the District Health Service in the Bolga East Constituency. Apexnewsgh.com reported The service was in need of funds to complete their office roofing project, which had been stalled for an extended period. In a generous act, Mr. Amoah not only donated a roofing sheet to the Ghana Health Service but also provided various types of medicine to improve the health conditions of the constituents. These items were handed over to the District Health Director for distribution to other health facilities within the district. “Is just me they wrote a letter to, I think they wrote a letter to a couple of people and afterward I had a discussion with my DCE and we have been able to get something to help in completing the roofing of their building”. “We were able to secure some drugs from friends and health is something that is very important to us. As i was saying earlier, this is not the first time we have responded to a call from the Ghana Health Service we donated various items to other health facilities within the district to help improve the lives and health delivery of our people”. According to Mr. Amoah, the value of the drugs is  Ghc 40,000.00 and he was confident it will go a long way to improve the health of our people. During his highly anticipated endorsement by the delegates of the NPP Bolgatanga East constituency on Sunday, September 10th, 2023, Mr. Amoah passionately emphasized his unwavering dedication to addressing the concerns and requirements of his constituents until the final ballot is tallied. The Bolgatanga East District Chief Executive (DCE) David Amoah who expressed his excitement during the donation described the humanitarian initiative by the NPP Parliamentary Candidate as a blessing to the people of Bolgatanga East. “If the people of Bolga East are looking for someone who can go the extra mile to give time to the work, Mathew Amoah is the one for now and we think that nobody can challenge him when it comes to these humanitarian services in recent times” The DCE urged the people of Bolga East to see the good work NPP PC is doing. “He is not doing it in one community, two communities, he is touching across all the communities in the Constituency and he doesn’t discriminate. The ambulance he put in shape is serving everybody. He has helped pay school fees and some other things all over the place and that shows that he is ready to do the work”. The DCE further advised the people of Bolga East not to mistake Mr. Mathew Amoah’s kind gesture for just politics’ sake but for humanity’s sake. Expressing his gratitude to Mr. Mathew Amoah after donating the roofing sheets and assorted kinds of drugs to help improve livelihood in the area, the Bolga East District Director of Ghana Health Service Emmanuel Kuu-ere Kob-Puo said, the bundles of roofing sheets donated are going to improve the efficiency of the offices and privacy. “Sometimes, you are working with your colleagues and there are certain things you would want your units alone to know but because is an open space all of us are operating, you cannot prevent somebody from listening to what you are discussing. With Human Resources in Particular, staff will come and want to discuss personal issues but unfortunately, he is sharing the office with another unit and it has been a challenge. So when the building to completed, I think it will go a long way and we will have that comfort”. “We have written to all well-meaning citizens of Bolga East, some are in Accra and some are still here. We have written to other organizations including the mining company here and we have been following up and is only one Endswell Pharmacy that responded and that helped us to put the wood on top. But Mathew Amoah is the second person that responded in connection with this building or if you like this office extension and we have applied widely to so many people”. Director said Commenting about the donated medicine, the district director was optimistic that drugs are going to address the challenge of always telling people to go and buy the drugs outside the facility. “We will immediately share them with all the health facilities including the CHPS Compound without structures, we will allocate their own so that people in that community will benefit from the drugs.” He said However, as Oliver Twist, he used the medium to appeal to other well-meaning residents of Bolga East, both at home or abroad to emulate Mr. Mathew’s humanitarian gesture to the Ghana Health Service. He stressed “We are not going to select five people somewhere and say they are campaign team, we are not going to get ten people and say they are campaign team, all my 258 delegates are my campaign team and this should tell you how ready we are. We are going to hit the ground so hard. “We are not going to do as they do, we are going to enlighten the people for them to see the benefits in politics”.
