NABCO: We didn’t assume we are going to reach this level and that is the most unfortunate part, very unfortunate-NABTAG PRESIDENT laments.

The National President for NABCO Trainees Association of Ghana Dennis Katakyie has cried out loud after not receiving his monthly stipend arrears for good solid 4 months. He said: “We didn’t assume we are going to reach this level and that is the most unfortunate part, very unfortunate”. Apexnewsgh.com report Dennis Katakyie was speaking in an interview conducted by ClassFm and monitored keenly by Apexnewsgh.com He said: ”If your son or Daughter seek for money to buy something and you tell him or her to wait you will give it to her, your ward will expect that you are going to give it to him within the shortest possible time but, when he or she sees that you are not giving, the next step will be taken and I think that is where we are now. So, hearing they are working on it, we didn’t assume we are going to reach this level and that is the most unfortunate part, very unfortunate. We are really frustrated and the hardship is too much and we have to voice out. “Nobody can take the advantages and the benefits this laudable programme or initiative has given us, for that one is true but at the end of the day, all that we say is that our welfare is still paramount. If there is something going on wrong, we need to come out and voice it out especially to the stakeholders, government and the authorities so that can make things easy for whatever we are seeking”. CLASS FM HOST Asked: “You keep saying things are hard, your members are frustrated, what is making things hard for them? “Well, we are not paid for 4 months, how can we manage we have family members and some of us we take a car before we get to our final destination to work and others too walk but even if you work, you need to eat. As I said, this Christmas we needed to buy some for the families you understand that? We have been in the system for 3 years and of course, we wish that we are able to do some big big necessities which of course we couldn’t see or witness that during this seasonal period, that means is hard without money you can’t make it”. “We have family members some of us imagine, am married with two kids without pay for 4 good months, how am I going to survive with my family and relative. So, if we say things are hard it should be understood”. Meanwhile, the ongoing predicaments of these NABCO beneficiaries are becoming worst as some of their members keep on dying without receiving their arrears from management. However, the unfortunate part according to them, is that no government official has knowledge of when their predicament will be resolved. NABCO: Leadership sends urgent caution to colleagues beneficiaries–READ

NABCO Trainees Association of Ghana (NABTAG) 22nd November, 2021 DO NOT BE INCITED TO INDULGE IN ANY POLITICALLY DRIVEN ACTION PRETEXTING ON FIGHTING FOR NABCO TRAINEES. ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ In lieu of the current tension premised on the expiration of the three-year NABCO tenure, it appears some politically motivated pressure groups are leveraging on the state of affairs for their political gains. NABTAG has sighted a flyer on a supposed Press Conference with the caption “Fix the Country in Collaboration with NABCO Trainees”. Clearly, we can lay hold on the fact that the individuals pushing this agenda are running on political influence. Not many days past, the National Secretariat released a circular directing trainees to remain at post as to serve government the latitude to work on possible ways of permanenting them. What is more, anterior to this directive, the president of the Republic has assured trainees on different occasions the readiness of his government to find a sustainable career path for the current cohort of NABCO beneficiaries. All of these arrangements prove government’s commitment to tackling unemployment. It will amount to sheer politics for any pressure group to overlook the efforts being put into finding a suitable exit pathway for NABCO trainees. Government has not neglected the youth in any way. Taking the reasoning far from politics as the pressing issue stages a critical social concern, the present government has comparatively outscored previous governments in instituting measures to mitigate unemployment. The least probability, provided there could, for NABCO trainees to register their displeasure will not so be done in collaboration with Fix the Country Movement. This only serves as a proof that the individuals behind this unfortunate agenda, who have persistently tagged NABTAG as a political association working in favor of the Akufo Addo-led government are themselves pursuing a political motive by capitalizing on the state of affairs. We do admit the troubling issues on fair grounds but we have to objectively examine inclusively the mandate of NABCO and score its achievement. Why must we reduce everything to the challenges and not the many other benefits? We would like to use this avenue to stage our displeasure over the delay in the payment of stipends for September and October. We humbly ask that management steps up its feet to effect payment in the course of the week to enable trainees undertake their daily work routines. Let us be patient and follow due processes instituted by government to chart the course of securing the future of the youth. NABTAG will not relent in its effort to follow-up with management through to the realization of the common goal. Payment validation for November will follow suit in the course of time. Trainees should stick to directives from their District Coordinators regarding validation. Do not indulge in any politically motivated action purposed at sabotaging the good work of government. CPTP trainees will not be left in the cold as far as government’s readiness to secure their future is evident in recent development. The end can only be great! …. SIGNED…. NPP is the nose, mouth, eyes and ears of the country Ghana—Nana Obiri boahen hails Dr. Bawumia after directs back NABCO Trainees back to post

The National Deputy Secretary of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Obiri Boahen has described the NPP as the nose, mouth, eyes and ears of the country Ghana. Apexnewsgh.com reports According to Mr. Boahen who was interviewed on Apexnewsgh.com platform on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, … the NPP is the nose, mouth, eyes and ears of the country Ghana. Apart from this tradition, there is no other tradition in this country that can move the nation forward and what has happened tells you how the NPP is and NABCO is a laudable and remarkable achievement”. He said He was responding to the directive made by the Ghana Vice President Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia asking over 68,000 NABCO beneficiaries across the country who were earlier asked to go home by their National Headquarters after their 3-year programme elapsed to return back to post as the government makes permanent arrangement for them. However, Mr. Boahen expressed satisfaction with the bold step decision made by Vice President. “As a country is a clear indication of how determined the government is prepared to arrest the issues of joblessness and for me, I applaud the government for this bold initiative and more especially the Vice President for coming out to give this directive”. As for those who were talking about the time limit, whether there is a time limit or there is no time limit, for me the most important thing is that some young Ghanaians are been employed. So that is good, is a good initiative” He reaffirmed Apexnewsgh.com/Ghana/Ngamegbulam Chidozie Stephen Please contact Apexnewsgh.com on email apexnewsgh@gmail.com for your credible news publications.
