The resident of Bimpella Tafaukuan community of the Tempane District in the Upper East Region has urged District Chief Executive (DCE) to remember the oath he took to serve the people and as well tackled the issue of broken Bimpella Tafaukuan Bridge with urgency and dedication it deserves when given the opportunity.
A letter copied to this platform signed by the Concerned Youth of Bimpella Taphakuan says: “The consequences of this broken bridge are far-reaching and deeply felt by each member of our community. They went further to say, “Access to education, healthcare, and employment opportunities has become increasingly challenging. Our local economy is suffering, and the livelihoods of countless individuals have been compromised. Moreover, emergency services are severely hindered, putting lives at risk every day”.
The Concerned Youth further threatened that, if the government did not come to their aid and will not entertain any political campaign in their community.
Meanwhile, the effort made by this platform to reach out to the District Chief Executive Issaka Anibida wasn’t successful.

Urgent Plea for Attention: Rebuilding the Broken Bridge in Bimpella Tafaukuan
Dear Hon. District Chief Executive Tempane,
I hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. As a concerned youth and resident of the village of Bimpella Tafaukuan, I am writing to bring your attention to a pressing issue that has been causing immense hardship and endangering the lives of our community members for far too long—the broken bridge connecting our village.
It has been some years since the bridge was damaged, leaving us isolated and cut us off from essential resources, services, and opportunities. Despite the promises made by politicians, the bridge remains in a state of disrepair, and we are yet to witness any meaningful action or progress in resolving this critical problem.
The consequences of this broken bridge are far-reaching and deeply felt by each member of our community. Access to education, healthcare, and employment opportunities has become increasingly challenging. Our local economy is suffering, and the livelihoods of countless individuals have been compromised. Moreover, emergency services are severely hindered, putting lives at risk every day.
We understand that governing a nation involves a multitude of priorities and challenges. However, we implore you to prioritize the restoration of the bridge in Bimpella Tafaukuan as an urgent matter. The resilience and progress of our village are intrinsically linked to this vital infrastructure. Without a functioning bridge, our hopes for a prosperous future are being dashed.
We, the youth of Bimpella Tafaukuan, refuse to sit idlle whereby while our community suffers. We stand united in our determination to hold our elected representatives accountable for their promises. We respectfully request that you take immediate action to allocate the necessary resources, funds, and expertise to rebuild the bridge swiftly and efficiently.
Moreover, we kindly ask that you keep us informed about the progress made and the timeline for the completion of the project. Transparent communication with the community will help to restore our faith in the political process and ensure that we are part of the decision-making journey.
We believe that our voices matter, and it is our responsibility to advocate for the betterment of our community. We urge you to remember the oath you took to serve the people and to approach this issue with the urgency and dedication it deserves.
Together, let us work towards rebuilding the broken bridge in Bimpella Tafaukuan, creating a safer, more prosperous future for all. We look forward to your prompt and decisive action on this matter.
Yours sincerely,
