Information reaching Apexnewsgh.com has it that 16 interested individuals have submitted their applications for the position of District Chief Executive in the Bongo District of the Upper East Region.
Ayinbisa Peter Ayamga who was appointed the Bongo District Chief Executive (DCE) by President Akufo Addo in his first 4 years is equally among the 16 applicants who had successfully submitted their applications to the Constituency Chairman.
However, he contested the MPship slot on the ticket of New Patriotic Party and lost to the NDC candidate Edward Bawa with about 9,000 votes.
Even though the Senior Minister in an interview sometime past, hinted that MMDCEs who performed well will be maintained, Apexnewsgh.com sources is yet to confirm if that will be the case in the Bongo District, following the hard work exhibited by the DCE Peter Ayinbisa.
