UER: Fuseini Adongo isn’t my co-equal, Cletus Avoka brags as he won massively

 A man who is mostly described by his main opposition contender in Zebilla Constituency has floored the Deputy Upper East Regional Minister, Frank Fuseini Adongo of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) with a tremendous margin in Monday’s parliamentary elections.

Apexnewsgh.com can report that the long-serving former Member of Parliament Mr. Avoka got 33,616 votes while the Deputy Upper East Regional Mr. Adongo got only a little of about 15,997.

Engaging the victorious former Minister Cletus Avoka, he told Apexnewsgh.com that his failure for not winning the 2016 election was as a result of some misunderstanding in the party, adding that, if not because of that his contender Mr. Adongo isn’t a co-equal to him when it comes to development and track records in the Zebilla Constituency.

Meanwhile, the Convention People’s Party (CPP) candidate, Benjamin Anafo, got 842, and Karim Mahamadu Aduku of the National Democratic Party (NDP) got a total vote of 174.

However, In the presidential polls, NPP candidate Akufo-Addo received 15,256, John Dramani Mahama of the opposition NDC got 33,679; GUM 298; CPP 188; GFP 37; PPP 17; NDP 54; IND 68; PNC 131; APC 70 and LPG also got 88 votes.
