Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo President of the Republic of has described the assertion that getting the COVID-19 jab will change the minds of people to vote for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) against their will in the 2024 election as outrageous. Apexnewsgh.com reports
According to the President during his 27 national COVID address about measures being put in place by his government to fight the pandemic on Wednesday, 15 December 2021, assuring, he said the vaccines are safe. “They will not harm you.”
He said, “They will protect you and your family”.
“Contrary to the mischief being peddled by some, getting vaccinated will not cause you to vote for the NPP in the 2024 elections if you do not want to”, “This is an outrageous claim”, he asserted.
“Vaccination cannot change your political preferences. That is not its purpose” President pointed.
