The Chairperson of the Electoral Commission has told Ghanaian to embrace the outcome of the of the EC declaration because victory comes from God. The Madam EC chairperson made the pronouncement when addressing Ghanaians ahead of the December 7 declaration of the election results on December 9, 2020.
“As commission we thank the almighty God for how far he has brought us, we recognized without a shadow of doubt that we could not have come this far without you. As the good book says, a horse is prepared for battle, but victory comes from God and we remain eternally grateful and thankful to God for the victories he has won on our behalf and they are numerous.” She said
“Its heart worming to stand before you today to declare the result of the 2020 general election, we have come so far. We started this year with hope and promise, poised to reform the core and overhaul the critical aspect of our work on the very system of which credible and transparent election are huge and here, am referring to our biometric voter management system.”
However, She declared candidate Akufo Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo the Ghana President elect for 2020 elections.
