Leading the “Enough is Enough” protest, Chairman Budozer as he popularly called declared, “We won’t agree today, we won’t agree tomorrow… They’ve sold us out twice, and we won’t allow it for the third time.”

The “Enough is Enough” demonstration in Upper East Region, Ghana, was a massive show of force by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporters, with thousands in attendance.
The protesters carried placards with powerful messages, demanding transparency and accountability from the Electoral Commission (EC). Some of the slogans included “Forensic Audit Now, No More Secret”, “Stealers Ya Kye mo”, “We Demand Free and Fair Election”, and “When the Wicked Rules the People Suffer”.
The demonstration, which was part of a nationwide movement, aimed to pressure the EC to conduct a forensic audit of the voter’s register ahead of the December 7 presidential and parliamentary elections. The NDC claims to have identified irregularities in the Pusiga Constituency and other areas, and is seeking to ensure a free and fair electoral process.
The protesters peacefully marched through the streets of Bolgatanga, ending at the regional EC office, where a petition was presented to the Regional EC Director. The NDC’s actions reflect the region’s desire for credible governance and electoral processes.
