Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana has admonished board chairpersons, heads and deputy heads of government institutions to work selflessly to turn around the fortunes of their respective institutions. Apexnewsgh.com reports
The Vice President offers the advice on Sunday, 21 November 2021 during the closing ceremony of a retreat for board chairpersons, heads and deputy heads of government institutions at Kwahu-Nkwatia in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
He urged all of them to repose the confidence President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has placed in them by working selflessly to turn around the fortunes of their respective institutions.
However, he further reminded them about the crucial roles state institutions play towards the economic transformation of the country, and the need for all to adopt innovative ways, especially technological advancement, to accelerate the growth and expansion of government institutions in order to create more opportunities for our youth.
