Bawku conflict at its peak– Upper East Regional Minister

The conflict in Bawku and its environs has reached its peak with incidents of attacks and counter-attacks perpetrated on the daily basis, Chairman of the Upper East Regional Security Council (REGSEC), Hon. Stephen Yakubu has said. The disturbances, he noted, posed threat to the future of children in the area, stressing that “Posterity will not forgive all those who contributed in one way or the other to this catastrophe. I am sad to admit is getting out of control.” Addressing this year’s maiden staff meeting of the Regional Coordinating Council (RCC), the REGSEC Chair, who is the Regional Minister, reiterated his appeal to sons and daughters of the area to lay down their arms and chart the path of dialogue to resolve the conflict. Apart from the RCC staff, the meeting attracted members of REGSEC and other Heads of Departments and Agencies in the Region, and afforded them the opportunity to deliberate on issues of development. Hon. Yakubu, however, commended the factions in the Doba-Kandiga conflict for their show of maturity in managing the conflict, and gave the assurance that REGSEC would continue to partner with all stakeholders in the area to find a lasting solution to the impasse. He assure residents in and around the Regional capital, Bolgatanga, that REGSEC would work to stem the growing insecurity over the past weeks for residents to go about their daily activities without fear. Touching on other sectors of the economy, the soft-spoken Minister and former Ambassador, said the agricultural sector employed about 80 percent of residents with a comparative advantage in the production of rice, maize, sorghum and groundnuts. Under the Planting for Food and Jobs programme, he said a total of 693,799 bags of NPK fertilizers were received and distributed in 2021, while a total of 280,000 bags had so far been distributed this year. Hon Yakubu attributed the reduction in the quantity of the fertilizers between 2021 and 2022 to the Russian-Ukraine war. On education, he said it was the pivot around which every facet of development evolved, and indicated that for the region to catch up with her peers, the issue of education should be taken seriously. He said the Akufo-Addo-led-government regarded education as a major priority, and therefore introduced the Free Senior High School (SHS) policy which had over the years increased enrollment in public SHSs. He added that the region chalked some marginal improvement in maternal deaths, saying maternal mortality reduced from 24 deaths in 2021 to 15 deaths in 2022 half-year. He said functional CHPS had increased from 87.6 percent in 2021 to 92.7 percent in 2022 half-year, and described the increase as good news to the people of the region. Hon. Yakubu said as part of strategies to increase the number of Medical Doctors in the Region, he charged the Municipal and District Chief Executives to identify and sponsor Medical students within their jurisdictions and bond them to return and serve upon completion of their course. Journalist who survived ‘evil wild cat’ attack with family, says the greatest ‘JUJU’ is to trust God, keep hands & mind clean

The freelance journalist and director of the Executive Director of Apexnewsgh.com Ngamegbulam Chidozie Stephen narrates how a wild cat attacked his home early hour of Thursday, January 20, 2022. Mr. Ngamegbulam who appeared victorious from the bad omen, give all praises to the Almighty God for his continuous protection toward him and the family. He said, “Brethren, the greatest Juju you can only be proud of is trusting in God, keeping your hands clean and wishing your enemy better with a clear mind”. This is my testimony. I want to start by thanking God for giving me and my family victory over the forces of darkness this day. The Story: In the early hour of Thursday, Jan 20, 2022, around 4:31 am, i heard something moving through my room celling sounding so unusual. I began to pray. My prayer point to God was to reveal the evil terrorizing me and my family for no crime committed. Brethren, at exactly 2 hours after that request to God, I realized something was struggling its way out inside the T&J ceiling, but could not find its usual root anymore. It had no other option than to fell from the ceiling to my room. Brethren, what I saw was a very darkened black Huge wild cat. At this point, everyone in the house was engaged in the house. My wife was busy in the kitchen preparing food for my children for school, my first daughter was in the bathroom and I was in the parlor with my second daughter ironing their school uniforms. Brethren, it was like a horror movie we normally watched. Then, my room suddenly became like a horrible zone. The wild cat was running around my room looking for a place to escape but God said no, today must be the last day of troubling my innocent son and family. Now imagine, if this were to happen at midnight when we are deep asleep? Imagine, if this were to happen when my daughters are alone in the room?. Brethren, the greatest Juju you can only be proud of is trusting in God, keeping your hands clean and wishing your enemy better with a clear mind. Below is the wild huge cat. This is normally seen in the bush.   Apexnewsgh.com/Ghana  Please contact Apexnewsgh.com on email apexnewsgh@gmail.com for your credible news publications. Contact: 05555568093

UER: The family of two crippled sisters in Bolgatanga cries for intervention as life becomes unbearable. Ayine and Paulina, the two crippled sisters and their mother
Opinion

UER: The family of two crippled sisters in Bolgatanga cries for intervention as life becomes unbearable.

The story of two crippled sisters Ayine Abotsi and Paulina Abotsi from Bolgatanga Atulbabisi of the Upper East Region is a touching and emotional one. The two cripple sisters, according to their widow mother Madam Janet Abotsi, were not naturally born crippled. Paulina was 20 years old and became crippled and Ayine was also seen as a cripple 13 years ago. According to their mother’s explanation when Apexnews Gh-TV crew visited the family; “Paulina started crying and was saying to me see a snake, see a snake, I turned around and I could not see any snake. Then she fell down and did not walk again. I rushed her to the hospital and they said it was a spiritual problem, So, I took her to Fountain Gate Chapel and they prayed for her, she was able to walk. One day, I went to my father’s house and I came back home, only to see her standing outside the house, and looked so scary. We took her to church again and they prayed for her and immediately she became weak and paralyzed till today. “As for Ayine, Even though she was disabled, she was able to walk. But unfortunately, someone took advantage of her situation and impregnated her, when she was due to give birth, Ayine delivered inside a lorry alone and I took her home. After 2years, she went to church and  afterwards, she could not rise to walk again and they brought her back to the house. That is how she became crippled till date”. Their widow mother narrated In the case of Ayine and Paulina, begging for alms as others who found themselves in such a condition will do,  that isn’t possible for them looking at the condition they both see themselves health-wise. In the absence of their mother Madam Janet who now survives the family, by selling fried yam and kosee at home, Ayine and Paulina passed faeces and urine on themselves. Their place of shelter is very pathetic, “I could remember their mother Madam Janet telling me sorry my son, our room is always smelling because of my children’s condition, please cover your nose well” that was the moment I cried because i was just imagining the difficulty they were passing through all these while. The child delivered by one of the cripples by an unknown person who took advantage of her condition is currently 10 years old and the 13-year son of her late son who died 8 months ago with the inclusion of Ayine and Paulina all survived by the little yam and kosse sells of their widow mother. Their local house is now a death trap and no money to fix it up, feeding Ayine and Paulina has become a tough task and their wheelchairs aren’t functioning well anymore. Therefore, Apexnews Gh as an entity is using its platform to seek for any benevolent organizations and well-meaning individuals both home and abroad who were touched with their current situation to come to the aid of Ayine and Paulina. Your general performance, is shambolic, abysmal and crummy– Talensi Constituency Secretary to NPP

The Secretary of the Opposition National Democratic Congress in the Talensi District of the Upper East Region Zinekena Solomon has registered some level of displeasure with the President and governing New Patriotic Party, especially with issues of Talensi developments and promises made the people of the Upper East Region. In a press statement released by the constituency Secretary on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, captured by Apexnewsgh.com, they constituency Secretary said, they as a party are not against President visiting of Namoalogo Dam, but they believes, the said dam does not fall squarely  under the 1 Village 1 Dam (1V1D) policy per chapter 4, page 50 of the NPP 2016 manifesto. “The President cannot find time to visit one of such dams to commission it but rather seeks cover to inspect the progress of work of a project that does not fall squarely under the President’s flagship policy of 1V1D.” He further stated that for over a year now, no work is going on at the site of Pwalugu Multi-Purpose dam. According to him, they expected the President to place a higher priority on the multi-million project to avert the perennial flooding caused by the spillage of the Bagre Dam as he suggested during his sod-cutting speech, which isn’t what they are currently experiencing as he described President pronouncement then as a deception to the people of Talensi and the region at large. However, Mr. Zenekena pointed that another huge infrastructure project that the people of Talensi and the Upper East Region were expecting the President to pay attention to during his visit is the Pusonamogo 120 – Affordable Housing Units called Rock Estates in the Talensi District, which he claimed the Vice President Dr. Bawumia told a falsehood the people of Talensi during his launching of the NPP’s Delivery Tracker. Below are the full details: SPEECH BY COMRADE ZINEKENA SOLOMON T.T.B., TALENSI CONSTITUENCY SECRETARY OF THE NDC, AT PUSUNAMOGO ON TUESDAY, 6TH OCTOBER, 2020. Title: PRESIDENT NANA ADDO’S VISIT TO THE TALENSI CONSTITUENCY; A FARCE AND ELECTORAL DECEIT. Good morning ladies and gentlemen of the media. Thank you once again for your kind coverage of this crucial platform. Ladies and gentle of the media, this venue is chosen because we want to engage in an evidence-based press conference to put things in perspective for the good people of Talensi and Ghanaians at large. Ladies and gentlemen, the Talensi NDC has intercepted the itinerary of President Nana Addo’s visit to the Upper East Region. In the said document, the President will only inspect an irrigation dam under the Ghana Irrigation Development Authority (GIDA) at Namoalogo in the Talensi District. Ladies and gentlemen, we have combed through the entire proposed programme of the President’s visit, and it appears that it is the only site/project that he is visiting in Talensi. Ladies and gentlemen, the NDC is not against the President’s visit to the dam at the Eastern Zone of the Constituency. However, this press conference is to exposed the record shambolic, abysmal and crummy performance of the NPP government under President Nana Addo and Bawumia by cataloging the NPP’s so-called flagship and unprecedented projects in Talensi which have not caught the attention of the President in his visit. A –The Pwalugu Multipurpose Dam and Irrigation Project. Ladies and gentlemen of the media, you will recall that President Nana Addo on Friday, November 29, 2019, cut sod for the construction of the Pwalugu Multipurpose Dam and Irrigation Project. In his speech at the sod-cutting ceremony, he stated categorically that the project ‘will be the single, largest investment ever made by any Government in the Northern sector of the country’. He also stated that ‘construction of the Dam will avert the perennial flooding caused by the spillage of the Bagre Dam’. Prior to the sod cutting, Vice President Bawumia on Saturday, August 31, 2019, at the Upper West Regional capital, Wa said that it will be the single, largest investment made by any Government in Northern Ghana since independence. Ladies and gentlemen, were these speeches made by President Nana Addo and his Vice their usual rhetoric and lip service speeches where walking the talk become a heavy barrier? If not, why is the President not visiting the site on his way to the Region since Pwalugu is the first community one will first meet when visiting the Upper East Region from Tamale? It is actually the gateway to the Region. It, however, beats the imagination of discerning Ghanaians why the President would abandon and desert a project he claims is the single, largest investment ever made by any Government in the Northern sector of the country. It is also insensitive and clueless on the part of the President to have ignored the project amidst the recent devastating flood in the Northern sector which has claimed several lives, rendered hundreds homeless, destroyed thousands of hectares of farms worth millions of Ghana Cedis, carried away several livestocks and broke culverts and bridges leading to stagnation of economic activities in the affected areas. We expected the President to place a higher priority on this project to avert the perennial flooding caused by the spillage of the Bagre Dam as he suggested in his sod-cutting speech. In the contrary, ladies and gentlemen, it is almost one solid year today, and there is absolutely nothing going on at the site. If it is not for DECEPTION, then, what is this? Ladies and gentlemen, President Nana Addo is not physically stronger than any of us here such he will be the only person to use the pick-axe or shovel to cut sod but it must be backed by the action of implementation. B – 120 Affordable Housing Units at Pusonamogo. Ladies and gentlemen of the media, another huge infrastructure project that the good people of Talensi and the Upper East Region were expecting the President to pay attention to in his visit is the Pusonamogo 120 – Affordable Housing Units called Rock Estates in the Talensi District, which the

UER: 4 Assemblies ban from dealing with PFJ fertilizer

In-put dealers from 4 assemblies in the Upper East Region have been restricted from retailing fertilizer under the government’s flagship programme, Planting for Food and Jobs (PFJ) due to their proximity to the neighboring countries. The 4 assemblies are Garu, Pusiga, Tempane, Kassena-Nankana West district and Bawku Municipal. These 4 assemblies have been slapped from participating in the distribution of fertilizer under the policy. Upper East Regional Crops Officer, Joshua Diedong who also doubles as a scheduling officer for the planting for food policy whiles making the revelation to Apexnewsgh.com said, some unscrupulous persons are taking advantage of the reduction in the price of the fertilizer to smuggle it out of the country. However, the Upper East Regional Secretary of the in-puts dealers association, Bismark Nsoh believes some untrained in-put dealers are behind the smuggling of the fertilizers in the region. Mr. Nsoh has there called on stakeholders to eliminate what he deemed political interference in the selection of in-put dealers which he believes is affecting the success of the policy. THE GREATEST KNOWLEDGE OF ALL

THE GREATEST KNOWLEDGE OF ALL BY GREG ODOGWU (CITIZEN SMITH) (Special revelation for World Peace Day, celebrated by the UN every September 21) Bonus Question: What is Original Sin? Answer: To understand that elusive concept globally known as the original sin, we must recognize that this idea is actually the foundation of all the violence and conflicts on Earth. It is the root of all evil! Why do I say so? The reason is that everybody has a deep-seated fear of God’s judgment. We all see ourselves as sinners. Even the Holy Bible mentioned that “in sin were we conceived” and went ahead to affirm, “for all have sinned…” This is why almost all the religions of the world teach about the destruction of the world – when the righteous God shall come down and obliterate the Earth and its inhabitants because of their sins. However, The Almighty has revealed to Peace Keepers of the Universe the reason why “all have sinned”. Knowing this is knowing the most hidden truth of all! Knowing this… Makes you a god! The truth is that every Human was born righteous. But immediately we are brought into Earth, the Angels initiate us into their War. Right from the cradle. Every baby has Supremicity, the energy of God, which makes the child guiltless. But through the manipulation of Angels, every baby joins the war, even without knowing it. And once this happens, the Supremicity is withdrawn by God, and the child becomes guilty. The saddest part is that it’s not even the child’s fault to join the war, but God pulls out of the baby’s soul. And from that day the child becomes afraid. Becomes guilty. Becomes corrupt. Becomes terrified of God’s judgment! How does this happen? Every child has a definite time in his or her life when that SIN is committed. The sin of joining the war. On that fateful day, the child would be manipulated into sabotaging a fellow Human who is from a different Angelic kingdom (opposition). If the child is Yahweh, he sabotages, betrays or destroys an Anunnaki. If he is Anunnaki, he sabotages, betrays or destroys a Pleiadian. If he is a Pleiadian, he sabotages, betrays or destroys a Yahweh. Please note, the child DOES NOT not what he is doing. But God still withdraws His Supremicity! It is not fair, but that’s the law. It was brought about because the Angels corporately lost their own Supremicity, and wanted to bring us into the War so that we should lose ours. ILLUSTRATION: An Anunnaki child will be playing with a Pleiadian child, and they come near an open gutter. A voice will clearly whisper to the Anunnaki child in his head, “push him into the gutter. He hates you. If it’s him, he will push you!’ Immediately the Anunnaki child obeys the VOICE and pushes the Pleiadian child into the gutter, he has been initiated into the Angel War. He has become an Anunnaki (Human) soldier. And, at that moment, God The Almighty leaves the child! He has eaten the forbidden fruit. He is guilty.
