The Deputy Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Obiri Boahen has reaffirmed his earlier stance of killing himself through suicide if the Opposition National Democratic Congress announced the winner of the 2020 election.
Mr. Obiri Boahen renewed his pronouncement on November 2, 2020, during an Exclusive interview with Ngamegbulam Chidozie Stephen of Apexnewsgh.com.
According to Mr. Obiri Oboahen, his expectation in the 2020 election, is for NPP to win with a huge margin to continue with their good developmental projects initiated across the country.
“I will take the bio of the crocodile add insecticide and then add Dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane, commonly known as DDT, then I will go to the grave. Because, how do I continue to live, when a party like NDC is in Power, as this my age? So, I will say goodbye and leave you, people.” He stressed
When he was questioned by Ngamegbulam Chidozie Stephen of Apexnewsgh.com whether he was really serious with his pronouncement, Mr. Obiri Boahen responded by saying, “…i have been saying it long ago and I mean it. I have been saying that at this age if the destiny of this nation is to rotate into the hands of these reckless, unreliable, visionless, and clueless politicians then, I deserve to go to the grave, I deserve to meet with my maker than to be with these people. He reaffirmed
