Bolgatanga Municipal Chief Executive, Mr. Rex Asanga, has praised the “Enhancing Food Security Nutrition and Resilience Program” as a crucial initiative towards building resilience among asylum seekers and their host communities. Apexnewsgh reports
According to Mr. Asanga, the project represents a significant step in ensuring that these asylum seekers not only survive but thrive. He emphasized the importance of collective commitment to improving the lives of those in need.
The 18 months programme is expected to address food security, nutrition, and resilience, Vulnerable populations will have improved access to nutritious food, Collaboration between the United Nations and Upper East Region Council and Initiative promotes economic development and sustainability.
