Akufo- Addo promises smooth transition to President elect

As the new leaders arrived at the ceremonial entrance of the Jubilee House, they were warmly received by President Akufo-Addo and Chief of Staff Akosua Frema Osei Opare. Following a brief photo session in the foyer, President Akufo-Addo and President-elect Mahama engaged in a private meeting that lasted about 20 minutes.

In his remarks to the press afterward, President Akufo-Addo conveyed his heartfelt congratulations to Mahama. He emphasized the importance of a smooth transfer of authority and assured the incoming president of his administration’s unwavering commitment to facilitating an effortless transition.
