With heartfelt appeals, they condemned the escalating conflict, urging factions to lay down arms and spare innocent lives.
The council pleaded for the government and Chief Justice to reconsider shutting down courts, particularly in Bolgatanga, and implement security measures to restore order. “If violence continues, we’ll have no choice but to ask those responsible to leave,” they warned.
Traditional leaders emphasized their crucial role in promoting peace and stability, collaborating with government institutions to resolve conflicts and foster development.
