Dr. Bawumia Calls for Inclusive Approach in NPP’s Reform Agenda

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the former Vice President and the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) 2024 flagbearer, has urged his party to expand its outreach as it develops its forthcoming reform agenda. Apexnewsgh reports

Speaking to enthusiastic supporters in the Oti Region during the NPP’s ongoing Thank You Tour, he stressed the importance of engaging a diverse cross-section of Ghanaian society.

“Looking ahead, we should broaden our base in our next reforms,” Dr. Bawumia asserted confidently. He emphasized that to truly reflect the aspirations of all Ghanaians, it is essential to incorporate voices from every corner of the country, including youth and women’s groups, traditional authorities, and the business community.

At a town-hall meeting held in Dambai, Dr. Bawumia took the opportunity to reflect on the lessons learned during the 2024 campaign and subsequent outreach initiatives. He commended the tireless efforts of the party’s volunteers, while also acknowledging that continuous improvement is necessary for future success.

“Our strength lies in our unity and diversity,” he remarked, urging the party to reach out to new stakeholders to fortify both the NPP and the nation. Dr. Bawumia’s call for inclusivity marks a pivotal moment as the party looks to strengthen its connections and ensure that its policies are representative of the broader Ghanaian populace.
