According to Al-Khomieni, Dr. Bawumia has demonstrated exceptional leadership and initiative, implementing numerous projects across the country. This, he believes, sets him apart from other candidates, particularly the former President John Dramani Mahama, who he claims lacks the confidence of the people.
The NPP Upper East Regional Youth Organizer further praised Dr. Bawumia for being a proactive and effective Vice President, who has not waited for opportunities to arise but has instead taken the initiative to drive progress. He explained that the Ghana Cards can help eliminate ghost workers and save the country billions of cedis. He has also introduced several digital initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and transparency in various sectors.
The e-pharmacy system, in particular, has streamlined access to pharmaceutical services, enabling Ghanaians to obtain medications conveniently and securely online. This system is part of a broader effort to modernize the healthcare sector and improve service delivery. Dr. Bawumia noted that 46 pharmacies in the Upper East Region are already part of the e-pharmacy system.
