Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has given a very strong assurance to establish a nursing training college for the chief and the people of the Builsa Traditional Area.

The promise if materialized would change the course of history. Vice President Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, on the first day of his tour to the region, visited the Paramount Chief, Nab Azaksuk Azantilow, at his palace.

The Chief, with a warm smile, welcomed Dr. Bawumia and shared the pressing needs of his people.

Nab Azantilow spoke of the long-awaited tertiary institution, a cold system for the Sandema Hospital, and other projects that had been overlooked. He expressed his hope that Dr. Bawumia would consider these appeals and reward the people’s votes with tangible development.

Dr. Bawumia, with a determined look, promised to address these concerns. He assured the Chief that a nursing training college would be established, and the Chieftaincy Act would be reviewed to empower chiefs to adjudicate cases.

He also pledged to resource the chiefs, paying living allowances to paramount and divisional chiefs, as well as queenmothers.

The Vice President’s words were met with enthusiasm and hope. He was accompanied by a delegation of ministers, former government appointees, and party executives, who shared his vision for a better future.

As Dr. Bawumia departed, the people of the Builsa Traditional Area felt a sense of renewed hope. They knew that their voices had been heard, and that a brighter tomorrow was within reach.

The promise made that day would become a beacon of change, guiding the region towards a future filled with opportunity and growth.
