In an effort to improve transparency and accountability in the implementation of infrastructure projects, the government of Ghana has announced the launch of a performance tracker. Apexnewsgh reports
The platform, set to be unveiled on Wednesday, will help address concerns regarding the accuracy and reliability of project presentations, especially the use of artist’s impressions to depict final outcomes.
Designed to showcase the progress and impact of infrastructure projects, the performance tracker will provide a reliable mechanism for citizens to track and monitor the development of various initiatives. By offering a transparent view of project milestones and outcomes, the platform aims to instill trust and confidence among the public.
The launch event is scheduled to take place at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo expected to officiate the initiative.
The introduction of the performance tracker signals a commitment to fostering greater accountability and openness in the management of infrastructure projects, reflecting the government’s dedication to promoting good governance practices.
