Members of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Upper East Regional Capital Bolgatanga have activated a protest against the official declaration of result by the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission Madam Jane Mensah.
According to Ahmed Tijani who spoke to Apexnewsgh.com, he said the party will not accept the declaration make by Madam Jane Mensah because the NDC won the election.
However, Apexnewsgh.com can report that tension is gradually growing up in front of the NDC constituency office which is located at the Asumda Bakery along the Bolgatanga- Navrongo road because the NDC party supporters who have gathered were seen burning tyres on the road.
However, there was a heavy police present monitoring the event.
