Investigation Launched into Mysterious Death of Mother in Adaklu Tevikpo Farming Community
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) at Adaklu District Police Command has initiated an investigation into the death of a 40-year-old mother in the farming community of Adaklu Tevikpo.
The deceased, known as Maama, was reported to have gone to the farm with her teenage son on Tuesday, 16th April 2024. However, her lifeless body was later discovered on the same farm, raising suspicions of foul play.
A family member of the deceased, Philip Tetteh, revealed that the deceased had recently had quarrels with her husband, Kwame Ayew, leading to tensions in the household. Ayew, identified as the prime suspect, had allegedly threatened to kill his wife during an argument at home.
Since the incident, Ayew has been on the run for the past 24 hours, evading authorities. The teenage son of the deceased is currently assisting the CID in their investigation to unravel the circumstances surrounding Maama’s death.
The family of the deceased, who are left behind nine children, are urging the public to come forward with any information that may lead to the apprehension of Kwame Ayew. As the investigation progresses, the CID is working diligently to bring justice to the grieving family and the community at large.
