The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has made a bold move by appointing Jose Mourinho as the new manager of the Super Eagles, replacing interim head coach Finidi George who was deemed unworthy by the NFF executive. Apexnewsgh reports

Mourinho, a well-known Portuguese manager, just landed at Lagos International Airport for the official signing of his contract and is set to start his duties promptly.

Under a four-year contract, Mourinho will lead the Super Eagles with the support of his backroom staff consisting of Finidi George, Emmanuel Amuneke, and Peter Rufai. Expressing his enthusiasm for the new role, Mourinho stated, “I have the pleasure to confirm I have committed to a legendary African side, with the massive challenge of qualifying for the Mundial.”

The seasoned manager, renowned for his success with top clubs like Chelsea, Inter Milan, and Real Madrid, sees this as an honor to coach another top team like Nigeria.
