In the small town of Natinga, a sense of disappointment hung in the air as a group of angry youth gathered to express their frustration. Apexnewsgh reports
The reason for their discontent? The failure of the NDC flag-bearer, John Dramani Mahama, to stop at the revered grandfather Gumah’s residence during his campaign tour of the Bawku Central Constituency.
But amidst the burning of NDC paraphernalia and the echoes of discontent, a message of apology and understanding arrived from the Member of Parliament for Bawku Central, Mahama Ayariga.
In a heartfelt letter, Ayariga acknowledged the youth’s legitimate concerns and expressed regret for the unfortunate incident.
Time constraints, Ayariga explained, had forced the campaign team to exceed their allocated time, making it impossible to visit grandfather Gumah’s residence.
But he reassured the youth that this was only the beginning of the campaign, and that John Dramani Mahama would surely visit Natinga in due course.
As the words of apology spread throughout Natinga, a sense of calm began to return.
The youth, though still disappointed, felt heard and understood. And in the midst of this momentary setback, a glimmer of hope emerged – a promise of a future visit, and a renewed commitment to the people of Natinga.
