The Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority (NYA), Osman Ayariga, has urged young people across Ghana to take advantage of the ongoing free enrollment into the National Apprenticeship Programme. Apexnewsgh reports
The initiative, launched officially by the NYA, aims to equip Ghanaian youth with practical, employable skills at no cost.
Empowerment Through Skills Training
Speaking at the launch, Mr. Ayariga emphasized that the programme is about empowerment, providing young people, especially the most vulnerable, with tools to build a better future.
“This programme is about giving our young people, especially the most vulnerable among us, the tools they need to build a better future,” he stated.
Lawyer Ayariga encouraged the youth not to delay signing up, highlighting the potential life-changing impact of the opportunity. “Act now, seize this opportunity, and secure a brighter tomorrow through skill training,” he added.
The National Apprenticeship Programme seeks to address youth unemployment by providing vocational training and support in various trades. Interested applicants can access more information or apply through the NYA website. The programme is a key intervention by the government to empower Ghanaian youth and promote employability.
