With unwavering determination, Mahama vowed to usher in a new era of development for the community, criticizing the past eight years of NPP administration for what he deemed as a lack of significant projects.

Standing before the eager crowd in Winkongo, Mr. Mahama passionately highlighted the NDC’s past achievements, emphasizing the strides made in supporting farmers and improving the local road infrastructure.

He spoke of ambitious plans for an Agricultural mechanization system, the introduction of a 24-hour economy, and the establishment of a proposed BONABOTO training college in the Talensi Constituency, all aimed at uplifting the community.

“I have come to bring more development, not to deceive my people,” Mahama declared with conviction, his words resonating with the assembled supporters.

The challenges facing the people of Talensi, notably the poor road network, were not lost on Mahama. He promised to prioritize the repair of key roads, including those connecting Kpatia and Tongo to Pelungu. Additionally, he pledged to introduce a Women Development Bank, recognizing the importance of empowering women to alleviate poverty in the region.

Amidst the fervor of the campaign launch, the esteemed presence of National Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketiah and other regional and national party leadership underscored the significance of the occasion, further igniting the hope and enthusiasm of the community for the promising future ahead.
